Wellington: Newtown Vintage Bazaar

On Thursday Hubby and I loaded up the car with little boy and our two dogs and travelled down to Wellington! Not to bad a trip considering it was a fully loaded car and weather was stunning all the way down until we hit Kapiti. Why were we heading down? I was very fortunate to be selected to perform at the New Zealand Burlesque festival and had booked in to go to a few workshops as well!

Friday morning I headed into Wellington to attend Jet Adores workshop. If you don't know who Jet Adore is' he is 1/3 of the delectable Stage Door Johnny's who performed at the Promenade Ball that night and brought the house down.

After the workshop April and I jumped on a bus and headed to Newtown to The Vintage Fete.

April! you should buy stuff!! ok! I'm terrible at encouraging my friends to buy though April did but the most gorgeous 50's swim suit

lots of treasures to explore

Stunning ball gown

Lots of beautiful colours and gowns, these were from Chez Elle

The fete was a lovely affair with some respected sellers from the region and Decorum from Napier. we met up with Michelle and Amy over a pot of tea and some cake before heading back into town for tech rehearsal and the promenade ball at the Paramount
