New Zealand Burlesque Festival Part Two

I was dog gone knackered after the Friday night performing but looking forward to the Saturday morning workshop with Sammich the Tramp at Footnote Dance Studio on Cuba street. The perfect location for anyone who enjoys quirky stores and vintage.....Me! Me!, Me!

The workshop had a great turn out and we explored how moving your body in different ways influences the perception of your characters...lots of fun!
The fabulous performer herself Sammy Tramp!
Afterwards Michelle and I headed down Cuba Street, grabbed a much coffee at Lido and headed across to the Burlesque expo held at Te WhareWaka on the waterfront. We bumped into the lovely Rachel Rouge and Lucy Sky Diamond on route and had a catch up. W.O.W was also on that weekend so town was a hive of activity, perfect for  a people watcher like me.
Overall a very busy day with lots of tempting items to buy. Look out for part Three, The Golden Garters and King & Queen competition.
