Atomic Fest 2013

I've been a busy little beaver lately with lots of shows coming up and Atomic Fest!
About 3 years ago I wanted to create an event that celebrated the growing Rockabilly, Vintage and Pin Up scene here in New Zealand.
Like many of the New Zealand scene we are fortunate to have a couple of boutiques that cater for our dress style and also often buy overseas but the general feedback is that they wished they could try items on and explore what was on offer. I thought on that and Atomic Markets came into fruition where I invited the various sellers in NZ to come and  sell their wares all under one roof, each year it steadily grew and this year it has accumulated into Atomic Fest!

This year was also very exciting as we have a new permanent home for Atomic Fest! The Classics Museum in Hamilton is a unique venue with a Classic car museum and a 50's reproduction diner on site and of course lots of parking.

This year we are offering the Atomic Market, Live entertainment, The Pamper lounge, Mini Pin Up Shoots, Work Shops, Miss Classic and of course all the car clubs are invited to display their pride and joys.

The market offers clothing, art, home wares among other delectable goodies that all fit in within the era of "Atomic " era ( 40's to early 60's) or the Rockabilly/ Hot Rod scene..

This year we also introduced Miss Classic where lovely ladies can showcase their style, this is run to find our next face of Atomic Fest 2014. This years darling is the lovely Honey L'Amour who is the current Miss Pin Up NZ.

So right now myself and my team are finalising details, I'm now dreaming it ( as you do when organising big events) and we are only a month away! Very Exciting.
